New 'City in Motion' Drone Video Depicts a Dynamic Chicago
There are many moving parts to this great city
Who doesn't love a good drone video of Chicago? Over the last couple of years, filmmakers and hobbyists have delivered a number of eye-popping videos with aerial footage of our great city and the iconic buildings that make up the Chicago skyline. And just as a reminder that spring is on the way, here's a quick look at a new drone video shot during the winter. The new City in Motion film from Drone Media Chicago shows a frosty, snow-covered Chicago. The usual suspects are all featured as well: the Adler Planetarium, Millennium Park, Maggie Daley Park, the 606 trail, the United Center, and of course, the Willis Tower.
As the name implies, this video focuses on how dynamic Chicago is. It's a big city with a lot of movement going on, and in the film, we get a good look at the 'L' in motion, waves from Lake Michigan crashing into the breakwall, a Metra train making its way through downtown, and vehicle traffic on our busy streets.
