Russian Campaign To Divide US

The Russians continue their efforts to stir up anger in the US. I excerpted some of the comments to a Fox article about a poll on impeachment below.

The comments are clearly Russian disinformation. They use simple made up names often with a color as part of the name, such as Red Sushi, Red Fires, Red Button, Olive Strawberry, Olive Goggles, Olive Glasses.

I have never understood why the Russians use so obviously made up names. Are they lazy or just poking fun at how dumb Americans are? Is it an inside joke?

They usually argue both sides of the issue, not with logic but with comments aimed to anger people. And their campaign is very effective. They have succeeded in 1/2 of the country despising the other half.

The Russians are doing an outstanding job of dividing America. And they are doing it with very little expense or risk to themselves.

What can we do about it? Point out to our fellow Americans that the Russian campaign is underway and don't fall for their BS. And stop being so angry. It is better for your health and better for your country if you relax. This too shall pass.
