We are watching our alligator in the pond behind our home. I think he is about 12 feet long.
Actually that is a slight exaggeration. He is only about 3 feet long. The photo above is not him - he is most submerged and my photos do not look very impressive.
Still, we are glad he is here. And that he is small.
We saw a much larger one earlier in another pond. Interesting critters.
And my friend Jim Nesci has made a career out of Gators and reptiles. Jim is the taller one.
