The City of Peoria is developing a plan to improve the water quality of the Illinois River. A healthy River is very important to the continued improvement of the Peoria region. The City has formed a Clean River Committee to provide advice and recommendations to the Peoria Department of Public Works as it develops the long-term plan. Meetings are open to the public.
