I-75 and University Parkway Diverging Diamond Interchange

Below is a link to the video that was shown regarding the diverging diamond concept.  The video is about 8 minutes in length and I would definitely recommend watching it if you have the opportunity. It will be constructed at I-75 and University Parkway.

Green Renaissance

Green Renaissance with Shiva Sobhani and 6 others
Vancouver Land Bridge, Vancouver, Washington, USA.

This pedestrian overpass - designed to reconnect Fort Vancouver to its waterfront and link the Discovery Trail system - utilizes a rainwater collection system to irrigate its indigenous landscape plantings. Sweeping across the State Route 14 in a simple, elegant arch, the interpretive landscape or the bridge is meant to pay homage to the native peoples encountered by the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Bell California City Manager Sentenced

robertrizzobell.jpg
April 14, 2014: Former Bell city manager Robert Rizzo arrives at the Edward R. Roybal Federal building and United States courthouse.ap
The former city manager of Bell was sentenced Wednesday to 12 years in prison and ordered to make restitution of $8.8 million in a corruption scheme that nearly bankrupted the small, blue-collar city.
Robert Rizzo apologized during sentencing in Los Angeles County Superior Court, telling the judge he breached the public's confidence.
Rizzo previously pleaded no contest to 69 counts including conspiracy, misappropriation of public funds and falsification of public records.

I really despise people like this who defraud government.  Most people in American government are ethical. Pond scum like him make people think all government people are crooks.

The ICMA (International City Managers Association) takes a dim view of such behavior.
